Tau-Tongue started as a way to give human creativity a skeleton. Why? Because constraint breeds creativity. I’m 5’5”. That’s a constraint. If I were 6’5”… I might be a baller. We’ll never know.

Tau-tongue provides a formal system of operators and rules that transforms a creative spark into a mathematical structure - defining relationships, tensions, and trajectories before a single word is written, a note is played, or a brushstroke lands.

I made it because I had creative block, and I was not going to be outsmarted by that evil trickster again. NOT TODAY SATAN!

The algebra doesn’t care what you’re making. It cares about the shape of the thing.

It turned out AI systems respond remarkably well to that kind of structure too. But that was a discovery, not the design.
